Scout Soap is handcrafted in small batches from only natural ingredients and moisturizing, plant-based butters and oils. Scented with the highest quality pure essential oils and naturally coloured with clays and plant infusions. Free from animal products, palm oil, synthetics, preservatives, or anything artificial. Many of the toppings are home-grown organic herbs and flowers.
All summer long, botanicals were infused in olive oil, warmed by the sun, so the Winter Release soaps contain oils infused with herbs, flowers, tree needles, etc. grown in my garden, or foraged locally. These soaps all have coconut milk as the liquid base, bringing a lovely, bubbly lather to the bars.
FORAGE is fresh and woodsy with a blend of Scotch Pine, Spearmint, Ho Wood, Litsea Cubeba and a touch of Basil. Like most herbs, Basil has antioxidants, which help protect the skin from environmental stressors, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The fresh green colour comes from Spirulina Powder, French Green Clay, Dried Spinach, and Activated Charcoal (effectively cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, removes deeper impurities, and dead skin cells). Infusing olive oil with Spruce needles brings out the cleansing and purifying properties of the needles and brings them to the soap.
INGREDIENTS: Saponified oils of Olive, Coconut, Sweet Almond, Avocado, & Castor, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Milk, Glycerin, Spruce, Kaolin Clay, French Green Clay, Spirulina, Activated Charcoal, Dried Spinach, 100% Pure Essential oils of Scotch Pine, Spearmint, Ho Wood, Litsea Cubeba and Basil. Topped with botanicals.
To prolong the life of your soap, please use a draining soap deck to allow it to dry between uses, and keep away from water streams and drips.
Due to the handcrafted nature of these soaps, expect slight variation in the appearance of each unique bar. Approximately 130 grams.
