Lafe's Twist-Stick Deodorants are Baking Soda Free. Baking Soda is a known skin irritant. Baking soda is an alkaline chemical compound which can effect the natural pH of your skin. Skin is supposed to have a pH of 4-4.5. Baking Soda has a pH of 9 which can lead to dryness, irritation and other side effects. We use Ingredients like Citrus, Bergamot, Coriander, Tee Tree Oil, Cedar, Aloe Vera, Lavender, Iris and Rose which fight odor-causing bacteria without the use of harmful chemicals.
